Bartnica ist ein Dorf in der Landgemeinde Nowa Ruda in Polen. Es liegt zehn Kilometer nordwestlich von Nowa Ruda und östlich der Landesgrenze zu Tschechien und gehört zum Powiat Kłodzki.
Bartnica gehört geographisch zum Glatzer Kessel, der nördlich von Bartnica an das Waldenburger Bergland anschließt. Nachbarorte sind Kolce im Norden, Sierpnice und Wyrębina im Nordosten, Świerki und Dworki im Südosten, Granicznik im Süden und Głuszyca im Nordwesten. Jenseits der Landesgrenze zu Tschechien liegen im Steinetal die Dörfer Rožmitál und Benešov im Südwesten, Heřmánkovice im Westen sowie der Grenzübergang Janovičky im Nordwesten. Ebenfalls jenseits der Grenze liegt der 740 m hohe Bobří vrch . Nordwestlich von Bartnica entspringt die Schweidnitzer Weißritz.
