Der Ort Fiskebäckskil liegt auf der Insel Skaftö in der Gemeinde Lysekil der schwedischen Provinz Västra Götalands län beziehungsweise der historischen Provinz Bohuslän.
Der Ort liegt im Norden der Insel Skaftö, etwa 100 Straßenkilometer nördlich von Göteborg. Die alte Fischersiedlung wird durch einen tiefen Wasserlauf von der Ostseite getrennt. Westlich grenzen der Ort und die Insel an den Gullmarsfjorden , den einzigen Fjord Schwedens. Gegenüber dem Ort, am westlichen Ufer des Fjordes, liegt Lysekil, der Hauptort der Gemeinde. Beide Orte werden durch eine Fähre verbunden.
