Der Flughafen Antalya , der mittlerweile aus einem nationalen sowie zwei internationalen Terminals besteht, liegt etwa zehn Kilometer östlich vom Stadtzentrum Antalyas entfernt und ist über die gut ausgebaute Schnellstraße D400 erreichbar. Innerhalb der Türkei nimmt er nach dem Flughafen Istanbul beim Passagieraufkommen den zweiten Platz ein mit über 35 Millionen Passagieren pro Jahr . Mit 670 Verbindungen von 108 verschiedenen Airlines ist der Flughafen Antalya weltweit der Flughafen mit den meisten Destinationen.
Der Flughafen verfügt über drei Start-/Landebahnen, wobei für den zivilen Verkehr die Startbahnen 18C/36C und 18L/36R vorgesehen sind. Beide können unabhängig voneinander betrieben werden und verfügen über Schnellabrollwege. Die dritte Startbahn 18R/36L ist den im westlichen Teil des Flughafens angesiedelten Luftstreitkräften vorbehalten.
