Einige Kletterer kehren wegen Müdigkeit oder Höhenkrankheit von hier zurück, aber die meisten machen hier eine Pause, um etwas zu essen.
Hier endet der Weg mit Schotter und Schotter und du bekommst festen Boden unter die Füße. Von hier aus dauert es eine weitere Stunde zum Uhuru Peak mit einem 170-Meter-Gefälle.
