Die Kathedrale aus sandfarbenem Sichtbeton steht im Norden von Downtown Los Angeles direkt neben dem Santa Ana Freeway. Sie hat eine Länge von insgesamt 120,62 m und fasst 3.000 Menschen. Das Patrozinium nimmt den ursprünglichen vollständigen Namen der Stadt auf .
