The Sipbach springs above the village of Voitsdorf, flows through the municipalities of Sattledt, Sipbachzell, Eggendorf in the Traunkreis, Allhaming, Pucking, and discharges into the Traun at Haid. It predominantly passes through agricultural areas. The Sipbach is locally straightened and reinforced in the area of road overpasses and settlements; otherwise, it flows freely. The interconnection with the surrounding area is good, with gravel islands, undercutting, and bank and glide banks forming. In addition to its high ecological value, the Sipbach has great landscape aesthetic significance. There are a few mills with weirs and diversions, such as the Falzmühle near Allhaming.
