Il Sipbach nasce sopra il paese di Voitsdorf, attraversa i comuni di Sattledt, Sipbachzell, Eggendorf im Traunkreis, Allhaming, Pucking e sfocia a Haid nel fiume Traun. Attraversa principalmente aree agricole. Il Sipbach è stato rettificato e rinforzato localmente in corrispondenza di sovrapassi stradali e insediamenti, altrimenti scorre liberamente. L'integrazione con l'area circostante è buona, si formano isole di ghiaia, sottoservizi, sponde ripide e sponde di scorrimento. Oltre al suo alto valore ecologico, il Sipbach ha una grande importanza estetica paesaggistica. Ci sono alcune poche mulini con diga e derivazioni, come ad esempio il Falzmühle vicino ad Allhaming.
