If the smooth flowing single track of Yarramundi and the technical trails of Menai were to have a love child Appin would be it. I?ve heard this 7.5km XC loop described as everything from ?brutal? to ?the way a XC loop should be?. It is a nice combination of flowing single track and technical challenges which will keep even good riders honest. For the average rider most of it is rideable on a good day, however it?s reassuring to know that almost all the technical sections come with a B line.
