De Pinte is a railway station in the municipality of De Pinte. Railway line 86 splits off from railway line 75 here.
The station was opened in 1839 during the construction of the railway line from Ghent-South to Kortrijk. In 1857, a branch line to Oudenaarde was built near De Pinte, creating a double connection with Ghent. The first station building was no longer satisfactory and a new and larger station was built in that year. The construction of the Stationsstraat in 1875 made the station more accessible. After more than a century of service, a new station building was built in 1980 after which the old one was demolished. There are two ticket offices and a station announcer.
