This chapel on the Oudenberg is especially busy in May with pilgrims. A month earlier, you can find thousands of cycling enthusiasts cheering on their favorites at the decisive point in the final of the Tour of Flanders. It is worth taking a moment to follow the path to the orientation table from where you have a beautiful view over the Flemish Ardennes. From here, at the folkloric festival of Krakelingen (last Sunday of February), after drinking wine with live fish, the Krakelingen or mastellen are thrown to the eager crowd. In the evening, people dance around the bonfire of 'Tonnekenbrand' to welcome spring.
