Opgrimbie is a Maasland church village, was an independent municipality until 1971, and now belongs to the municipality of Maasmechelen, in the Belgian province of Limburg.
The place name cannot be clearly explained. "Op" means: higher located, "grim" could refer to sand or gravel, and "bie" could mean dwelling place.
