Wansin is a village in the Belgian province of Liège and a district of the city of Hannuit. It was an independent municipality until it was merged in 1965 with Petit-Hallet to become part of the municipality of Grand-Hallet, which in turn was added to Hannuit in 1977.
Wansin is located in the western part of the municipality of Hannuit. The village core is situated north of the road to Waver that runs through the district. It is an agricultural village in Dry Haspengouw with a lot of arable farming and livestock. Since the early 20th century, there have been mushroom farms in the village.
