Fort Liezele is one of the best-preserved and restored armoured forts of the Antwerp Fortress. The fort dates from the beginning of the 20th century, survived the two world wars and is now a fortified gem in a green zone.
A large part of the fort has been set up as a museum, which sheds light on the history of the building and its surroundings during both world wars. In the museum rooms, you will discover a unique collection of original equipment, uniforms, weapons and photographic material.
