Bockor is made here in the Bockor brewery. Omer Vander Ghinste was the brewer who made Bockor. Bockor had plenty of cafes. Café Sportwereld in the neighborhood is one of them. To create some publicity, Omer Vande Ghinste placed stained glass windows in the pubs with his name and the name of the beer. When the son arrived, he was also called Omer, because when the son took over, they did not have to change those stained glass windows that were expensive. SO the tradition continued. Now there are already 5 generations of Omer. That's why they've named their latest beer Omer.
