Great castle 's-Gravenwezel

Square water castle from the 15th - 17th century (?) renovated in the 18th - 20th century, within a square moat; farmstead with U-shaped outbuildings from the 17th - 18th century (?) on the east side. Notable landscaped park from 1783-1786 designed by B. Gaine, on the south side of the castle with panoramic views. Estate within rectangular moat with a semi-circular protruding section on the south side. Connected by a paved straight road to Sint-Jobsteenweg (north) and through the straight Paviljoendreef to the Swaenebeek. In the surrounding area, residential neighborhoods and fenced meadows between the castle estate and Sint-Jobsteenweg.
