The Kolveren is a nature reserve in the north of Zonhoven, belonging to the Laambeekvallei in the Belgian province of Limburg. The area covers 30 ha and is managed by Limburgs Landschap vzw.
This area, located just south of the A2/E314, is a moist area through which the Laambeek meanders. The name comes from "ditsekolf," a folk name for the bulrush. It is a landscape of small plots of water, forest, arable land, and pasture, separated by hedgerows consisting of oak trees. Mining subsidence has increased the marshiness. In the past, iron ore was extracted from the area, and there was also a fortification. The plant species include common Solomon's seal, lily of the valley, forget-me-not, musk herb, and wood anemone.
