Description

Boon's best-known novel was named after this road. The Kapellekensbaan is the place where the main character Ondine was born and grew up. There used to be three workmen's houses to the right of the chapel. The middle of the three, an 'Estaminet', was in Boon's eyes the house where Ondine lived with her brother and parents and where the keys to the chapel of Termuren were kept
