Vroenhoven Bridge

The Bridge of Vroenhoven is a museum in the Belgian place Vroenhoven. The museum highlights the history of the bridge during the first days of the Second World War, including the experiences of the soldiers in the bunker by the bridge over the Albert Canal and the attack by the Belgian aviators, seven of whom fell during an attack on the bridge. It was a phase in the conquest of the nearby fort of Eben-Emael.

Additionally, there is attention given to the inland navigation, the canals and the life of animals and plants within them. Besides a cafeteria, there is a meeting or event space available for 150 to 1500 people and an open-air auditorium. Moreover, it is a unique location for a wedding celebration in Limburg.
