Mariahove Castle is a castle in the Belgian village of Bellem. The castle is located southeast of the village centre along the Mariahovelaan, the road to Hansbeke.
The origins of the domain date back to the middle of the 16th century when the Ghent family Rijm owned the seigneury of Bellem. Through Maria-Anna Rijm, the only daughter and the heiress and last bearer of the name of the Rijm family, the domain came into the possession of her husband Louis-Frans, prince de Montmorency. In 1808, Princess Louisa de Montmorency sold the castle grounds of Bellem to the Ghent textile baron Jacob Lieven van Caneghem. The current castle was built in 1815 according to the plans of architect Bruno Renard. Jacob Lieven van Caneghem is buried in Bellem. Outside Bellem, he built a clinic for the blind in Ghent; today this is the office building of the company Arch&Teco.
