Castle Thal is a castle-like mansion located in Kettenis, which belongs to the Belgian municipality of Eupen, situated on Talstraße.
The area was first mentioned in 1580, as in dem Dall. The castle was built from 1754 to 1757 for the cloth merchant and mayor of Eupen, Renier-François Grand Ry. The cloth manufacturer Johann von Thys was co-owner of the estate. The house was furnished with valuable tapestries. In 1801, it was taken over by the cloth manufacturer Jean-Adolphe Philipp, and he sold much of the valuable inventory.
