Schoppen is a village in the municipality of Amel in the province of Liège in Belgium with 390 inhabitants. The village lies on the northern summit of the Sankt Vith district, on the border of the Deutsch-Belgisches Naturpark cross-border nature reserve. The first traces of human habitation date from the sixth century. The first written mention dates from 1476.
