The Goedingebrug is a beam bridge over the Leie between Afsnee and Drongen near Ghent, next to the E40 motorway. A pedestrian bridge hangs underneath it. This restricts the free clearance height to 5.72 meters. It is also usable for cyclists, provided they ascend a staircase, saving them a significant detour. This bridge is indeed the only one in the 10 kilometers between the N437 and the recent Muinkhampad Bicycle Bridge next to railway line 50A. The pedestrian bridge has a length of 53.54 m and a width of 2.12 m and is suspended with metal rods from the underside of the Goedingebrug. The year 1947 is prominently displayed on both abutments of the pedestrian bridge.
