The Munsterbos is a nature reserve spread over 400 hectares of forests, ponds, swamps and grasslands. It is located on the border of Kempen and Haspengouw. The Bezoensbeek, one of the purest and most beautiful brooks in Limburg, flows right through the forest. The centuries-old pond area in the middle of the Munsterbos is a true paradise for many rare reed birds. In the bird watch box you get a beautiful view of this natural beauty and you can spot the birds undisturbed.
