Grobbendonk Castle is a former castle in the Antwerp town of Grobbendonk, located at Hofeinde 20-22. The neerhof of this castle is still preserved. In the 12th or 13th century there was for the first time mention of Grobbendonk Castle as the seat of the lords. In 1545 or 1550 the castle came to Gaspar Schetz. In 1579 the castle was looted and burned down. In 1586-1587 it was rebuilt. From 1617 it came to the d'Ursel family, but in French times, at the end of the 18th century, it was still destroyed. The remaining buildings are leased by the family as a farm.
