The avenue to the Calvary cross was established in 1928. In 1995, it was protected. On the left is the UCLL Hertogstraat campus, and further in the distance, you can see the Hemptinne barracks. The private cemetery of the sisters at the end of the avenue was established in 1953. Before that, the sisters were buried in the cemetery of Heverlee center. The Calvary cross is older than the cemetery and has been there since 1908. At the border of the domain stands a small chapel in honor of Our Lady of Banneux.
