De Warande is a provincial cultural centre in the city of Turnhout and was one of the first cultural centres in Flanders. It includes a theatre, a theatre and concert hall, a party hall and several smaller project and stage spaces. De Warande also houses the public library of Turnhout and cultural projects. The name Warande refers to an enclosed hunting ground of the castle of the Dukes of Brabant, which was used as a hunting lodge in the Middle Ages.
