The St. Vedastus Church is the main church of Menen. Commonly referred to as "the large church." According to a plan by Sanderus from 1644, there was already a church on this site. However, the current building with its neoclassical and monumental entrance dates from the early 19th century. There are three naves and three choirs. They are dedicated to the Virgin Mary, St. Vedastus, and St. John the Baptist. The church was inaugurated in 1821.
