Chapel and floor linde at crossroads

At a crossroads of footpaths there is an old lime tree. It is maintained as a serrated tree but has the characteristics of a tree. The Dutch linden consists of a lower whorl with heavy trimmed stilt branches, an intermediate floor and a continuous trunk with a bulb at the end. A small tree chapel is attached to the trunk.
On the cabinet map of the Ferraris there is no intersection at the level of the linden.
This intersection is first visible on the Atlas of local roads (ca 1843-1852). A dot is displayed at the level of the linden tree. Presumably the tree was already there at that time.
On the military topographic map of the Military Depot from 1862, the mention 'Tilleul' is near the location of the linden. However, the linden itself is not indicated on this map and is only shown topographically for the first time on the military topographic map from 1910.
