Description

Primary school "Regina Caeli" from 1927 located between the lyceum and the church, built in a neotraditional style. The school was founded during the period when the Kaudenaarde district experienced a strong population increase. Against the south façade on the left dated by a facing stone "A.D. 1927/ AEDIFICAVIT/ EUGENIUS VAN RECHEM/ EPISC. CARPAS. Sup. Gen.". The H-shaped floor plan of the school was registered on the land register in 1928. Enlargement on the land register registered in 1938 in which the north side of the H-shaped floor plan was provided with a roof. Playground north of the main building. New wing to the east of the playground and recent sports hall between the school and the church.
