Farm in a wooded area (Walking Park); the only remaining farm out of about thirty rental farms of the Norbertine Abbey of Tongerlo in Essen; established in 1767 on the orders of Empress Maria Theresa for the cultivation of fallow land. From 1825 to 1960, it belonged to the Hemelrijk estate. Currently set up as a restaurant and cart museum (1971).
