Walled cemetery laid out according to an irregular pattern and located in the far east of northern Kraainem. Fairly isolated location east of the Brussels Ring Road in an area with hardly any buildings. To the north, it opens onto Avenue Arthur Dezangré, and to the south, it is accessible via Avenue de l'Kerkhof. This area was originally part of the castle park of "Edouard De burbure de Wezembeek" (territory of Wezembeek-Oppem) from whom the municipality bought the land in the early 1930s (cadastral registered in 1933), and changed its use to cemetery. That these were quickly put into use is proven by the registration of two service buildings in the centre of the cemetery in 1934.
