Beaulieu Castle

First castle built around 1777 by General de Beaulieu. A second castle succeeded it in 1803. Damaged during the last war, only scattered elements of the back facade and outbuildings remain. A beautiful linden tree avenue flanked by vast orchards welcomes the visitor. Wrought iron portico with two pilasters and limestone balls. The large barn retains only its walls and its two arched portals in Gobertange stone.

Spanning several dozen hectares, the property consists of a splendid landscaped park, planted with remarkable trees, probably created as early as the late 18th century. It descends relatively steeply towards the Brocui stream, which feeds a large ornamental body of water, the focal point of the perspective. On either side of the park, vast apple orchards reinforce the perspective over wide expanses.
