At the Leopold Canal, you leave the open farmland complex of Sint-Jan-in-Eremo. On the left side across the water is the Bentille Creek, which is cut off from the canal by the Mazure Creek. In a lovely landscape, meadows stretch out to the water. You continue along a gravel path under a double row of trees that defines the canal. From the Zonnebrug, you have a beautiful view of both sides of the canal. Through a dark corridor, the water seeks a way to the sea.
