'Villa Carpentier' or 'Villa Les Platanes' was built in the Art Nouveau style. It was designed by Victor Horta as a summer residence. Not only the villa but also the garden is part of his design. It competed for the title of the most beautiful monument in the Canvas program Monumentenstrijd in 2006.
