The Louis Braffort memorial in Wambeek is a bluestone chapel. It was established in 1947 at the location where the body of the murdered Brussels bailiff Louis Braffort was found on August 24, 1944. It is situated at the point where three roads converge: Elshoutweg, Doelstraat, and Galgestraat in Wambeek. This memorial replaces the cross that previously stood there, which has been kept beside the memorial for a while.
