In this farm shop you will find (un)adulterated farm products, grown and cultivated completely naturally. You may not have heard the name 's Hondshof often, it is a name that was given to the business long ago by the rural guilds. Authenticity is held in high regard here. Grazing cows along the railway line… how did people think about that in the past: People were used to slow travel and initially there was a lot of resistance to the arrival of the train. This resistance mainly stemmed from fear of the unknown. Boatmen and coachmen were afraid they would have no work anymore if the train replaced the barges and stagecoaches. On the farms along the railways, they feared that their animals would be startled by the noise of the train. The cows would give sour milk and the horses would go wild. Some doctors were even convinced that traveling by train would be very unhealthy, as our bodies could not handle that speed at all. There was also fear of accidents, explosions, and derailments.
