The mountain road leads to the Poelberg. A little further there is a parking lot and access to the nature reserve 'Poelbergbosje' , formerly a football field.
The Poelberg is a 45 meter high hill .
At the foot of the Poelberg are the Meikensbossen , a forest and nature reserve of the Office for Nature and Forestry. The Poelberg-Meikensbossen hiking network runs through the area.
