Visitor Center Uitkerkse Polder

The visitor center is located on the edge of the nature reserve, a stone's throw from the Uitkerke church, and is the ideal starting point for a walk or bike ride through the Uitkerkse polder. The visitor center is closed on Mondays and open in the afternoons on other days. Sunday from 10 a.m.

The visitor center is the place for playful birds! Let off steam in the natural play area with climbing trunks, climbing ropes, tree nest and wiglo. Discover the silhouette of the flying beast while playing. Ravofun guaranteed! Be sure to visit the bee hotel , where you can watch the hard-working animals, especially in spring. Then play as a young lapwing and explore the lapwing trail . You will be given a special task in 10 challenging stations. Start at the totem pole and follow the blue footpath.

Inside, the visitor center offers a children's corner with natural coloring pages and for the little ones: a baby toilet with a changing area and a baby chair.

The exhibition is entirely for children, with buttons to hear the sounds of different birds. World map lights with bird migration flight routes also fire the imagination. And then there's the binoculars in the window overlooking the pool.
