On the island of Oneux , the kiosk of the royal band "les joyeux travailleurs" adds a musical touch to the landscape.
The construction took place in three phases depending on the financial possibilities of the company . The base was erected in 1924 , the superstructure in 1928 and the catwalk in 1938. The kiosk was completely renovated in 1983.
The fanfare has been around since 1852 and in 2022 it celebrated its 170th anniversary. The name comes from the many independents that were part of the fanfare when it was formed.
