The Saint Emmanuel spoil tip is located in the municipality of La Louvière in the province of Hainaut. This spoil tip is a former coal mining site. The site is classified by the decree of August 22, 2011, as well as the new director's house, with the exception of its recent annexes and its park; the engineer's house and its surroundings; the employees' houses; the hotel and their surroundings; the pharmacy and the houses of the Bois du site mining of the worker village of Bois-du-Luc and the Saint-Emmanuel spoil tip and the Saint-Patrice spoil tip. Establishment of a protection zone around the architectural ensemble of the mining site and the worker village of Bois-du-Luc in La Louvière.
