Since 1998, the Bruges Beguinage, along with twelve others, has been part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site .

Do you want a unique look back in time? Then visit the beguinage at number 1. It is furnished as a museum . In this museum you can see how the residents lived. The kitchen, the sitting room, the dining room and the bedroom are decorated in the style of the 17th century. It gives you an exclusive look at life at the Beguinage in the 17th century: the Leuven stove, the typical floor in checkerboard shape, the crockery, the pewter dishes, the spinning wheel, paintings, lace, ...
