The church is best known for the blessing of animals in the church on November 11th to commemorate the armistice on the occasion of the hunting festival. Hunting horns accompany the blessing.
This neoclassical building was built in 1848 on the site of the Collège des Augustins. The beautiful color of the facade bricks and the simple but bright interior design are eye-catchers.
At the entrance are paintings reminiscent of Godfrey van Bouillon's epic .
On the sides are paintings about the gospel and the life of Jesus.
In 2017 a new statue of Saint Eloi was installed.
