Café Forest Ranger's House

On the edge of the natural reserve de Beeltjens an old forest ranger’s house has been transformed into a youth hostel. You can stay here with the whole family, or play and romp for hours in the playground.

The youth hostel

Since the 1980s, there has been a youth hostel here. Later, an extension was added with modern rooms and a multi-purpose hall in a new building. Everyone gets a bed here, young and not-so-young. On the terrace, it’s delightful to enjoy while the children let loose in the playground and the adventure course.

The play forest and the playground

If just a playground doesn’t convince you. Here you will find a real play forest! Here you don’t have to stay on the paths, you can build camps, climb trees, make witch soup, or sculpt with mud. Children are challenged to go completely wild. Imagination and creativity come first. Wonderful, right?

The Forest Ranger's House is also the starting point of the Gravinnekespad. Even more adventure and hours of fun in the midst of nature.
