This is the L version for the first day of the triptych in favor of "Back on Track". The bike ride takes participants from AZ Maria Middelares in Ghent to Antwerp.
From September 16 to 18, 2022, 40 employees from AZ Maria Middelares and Sint-Vincentius Hospital Deinze will undertake a three-day bike ride in support of the "Back on Track" fund (www.backontrackfoundation.com) with the motto "Together Strong".
This fund, established by Thomas Van der Plaetsen and AZ Maria Middelares, raises money to make the treatment of cancer patients more bearable by focusing on psychosocial support, rehabilitation programs, ...
Below are the changes compared to the base route (SamenSterk2022M):
- Before lunch: the route follows the Ghent-Bruges canal slightly longer
- After lunch: In Sint-Gillis Waas the route takes a different trajectory towards Nieuwkerken-Waas and Beveren
