A spacious parking area near Beersel Castle is within walking distance of Beersel station. From Beersel station, we take the S5 train to Saint-Job station in Ukkel (towards Brussels-Schuman & Mechelen). 

 

We start our walk from a corner of Brussels to reach Kauwberg and the hamlet of Verrewinkel in Flemish Brabant's Linkebeek. From here, we explore the Zenne Valley, its steep Wijnbrondal, and Schaveyspark with the largest off-leash dog area in Flanders.

 

When we leave Schaveyspark, we enter Alsemberg, a district of Beersel, where we return to Beersel Castle via the Gasthuisbos, the Duivenput, and the Karpatten. It is a hilly walk with nice paths, mostly through fragmented forests.
