Heuvelpad Klerken

The Heuvelpad in Klerken starts at the church, where there is parking as well as a panoramic table. During this walk, you can get to know and appreciate the domain of De Vleugels better. Along the way, you will also come across several sculptures by artist Henri Covemaeker: 'The Blacksmith', 'The Lace Maker', 'The Sower', and 'The Seasonal Worker' (or 'The Trimard').

- 'The Blacksmith' can be found on Holleweg at the intersection of 'De Smisse'.

- 'The Lace Maker' is located at the corner of Smissestraat and Jos Janssenstraat.

- 'The Sower' is on Coppensplein (Smissestraat).

- 'The Seasonal Worker' or 'The Trimaar' can be found on Stokstraat at the level of Jos Janssenstraat.

Just before the end of the walk, you will pass by the (literally) high point of the route, namely 'The Brown Kriek Pear of Klerken', winner of Tree of the Year 2022!
