NISRAMONT - The solitude of a great lake

Going to the 'Haute Ardenne' is to catch a bit of adventure. The path that follows the shores of the lake of Nisramont reveals a succession of images of unspoiled nature. This route, which not only follows the banks of the Ourthe, brings you into different atmospheres, reminiscent of the lakes of the Far North or mountain lakes. You pass rocks, climb steps, and descend steep paths to reach another shore near Engreux. The return via the banks of the eastern Ourthe requires another 2 hours of walking, but the reward is there: no road, no traffic noise disrupts this beautiful journey. During this walk, you’ll follow a part of the Escapardenne!
