Walk around Lorcé

The route of this walk goes through hills and valleys. From the tops of Lorcé and Chession, you get a beautiful view of the surroundings: vast landscapes, meadows, spruce and deciduous forests are crossed by the valleys of the Amblève and its tributaries, and here and there picturesque Ardennes villages can be seen. Shortly after the starting point, the stone path follows the stream of "Fagne Naze." It winds its way down to the Amblève. Here, it is still very natural and wild and can be seen from the walking path along the edge of the hilltop. The route continues along the Pouhon stream to the Mignolet mill, which stands lonely in the valley. After that, it goes back up through the Mahoster forest to Chession, from where one can already see the village of Stoumont in the distance. Through meadows and forests, the walk crosses the path of the Pouhon again, to return to the starting point. Departure: From the E25, just before the center of Lorcé on the left side. Dogs on a leash are allowed.
