The path leads over the plateau "des Abannets". Through the valleys hollowed out in the limestone cliffs, you will reach la roche aux faucons (the Falcon Rock) and the viewpoint overlooking the village of Olloy-sur-Viroin. In the distance, the hilly landscape of the limestone ridge transitions into the Ardennes forests. Further along the route, you will find the Fondry des Chiens with a gorge up to 20 meters deep. A rare and sensitive plant world developed in the limestone soil in the surrounding area. On the way back to the village, the "Maticolo," a gorge above the course of the Eau Noire river, forms a funnel-shaped hollow that was once covered with iron ore.
