Duke Jan Primus of Brabant was a true beer lover. He granted privileges to the breweries of Brabant and saw his name immortalized in the lager Primus of Haacht brewery. It is here that your tour through the Demer and Dijl landscape starts. You cycle through a diverse landscape of arable land, wooded areas, and past historic buildings. Eye-catchers include the famous Castle of Horst, the Moedermeule and the Gempemolen. Not coincidentally, you can also taste Flemish Brabant beers here.
